- Nature of Services and One-Time Payment
Service Description: Cinedidact provides in-person cinematography instructional courses and various hands-on educational experiences.
One-Time Purchase: All bookings made on this Website are considered one-time payments for the specific session(s) selected at checkout. Transactions are singular in nature; they do not involve ongoing subscription fees, nor do they result in recurring, automated charges.
- Statutory Right of Withdrawal for EU Consumers and Related Acknowledgments
In accordance with Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and relevant national regulations concerning distance contracts:
Exemption for Scheduled Events: The standard 14-day statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure or educational activities that are scheduled for a specific date or period of performance.
Acknowledgment Regarding Immediate Delivery: If a service involves immediate execution or the provision of access to digital materials, you expressly acknowledge and agree that once the service has begun—with your prior, explicit consent—you waive your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal (i.e., your right to a refund).
4. Booking Process and Confirmation
Booking Process: Once checkout is complete and full payment has been received, the system will automatically send a confirmation summary to the email address provided during checkout.
Accuracy of Information: Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact details to ensure they receive venue directions, schedules, and other event-related information.
- Pricing and Currency
Currency: Prices listed on the website are in Euros (€).
Taxes: In accordance with applicable sales regulations in Singapore and Europe, any statutory taxes due will be specified during the checkout process, prior to the submission of final payment.
- Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
Cancellations by Participants: Given the fixed nature of venue arrangements and limited capacity, please submit any cancellation requests in writing via email to course@cinedidact.com. In accordance with Section 3 above, eligibility for a refund or rescheduling will be assessed based on the timing of your notification relative to the event start date.
Rescheduling by the Organizer: Should a course require rescheduling or adjustment due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, participants may choose to transfer their registration to another session or receive a full refund.
- Intellectual Property
All original content, visual materials, text, course schedules, and instructional materials displayed on www.cinedidact.com are the exclusive property of Cinedidact. Materials provided during the course are for personal study purposes only; reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without prior written permission is strictly prohibited. - Limitation of Liability
Services provided through this website are for educational and instructional purposes and are offered on an “as-is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Singapore and Europe:
Cinedidact shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from participation in the course or reliance upon the instructional content.
Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit any statutory rights granted to consumers under mandatory European consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or a booking for services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore; however, this does not affect the application of any mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions to which a consumer may be entitled in their European country of residence.
